Face seal blister
The face seal blister can be defined as the type of packaging in which the plastic blister is moulded around the goods and heat-sealed to a cardboard exterior. The face seal blister can be suitable for products that are needed to be packaged on a large scale as they are relatively cheaper than the other counterparts.
Full card blister
The face seal blister can be defined as the type of packaging in which the blister covers the card's full size. In this case, the packaging has flanges that wrap around it instead of being heat-sealed to the card. The card is slid and occasionally stapled into place.
Trapped blister
A trapped blister can be defined as the type of packaging in which the plastic part sticks to the cardboard has another piece in front of it that fits around the blister's shape. Following the process, the plastic is then trapped between two pieces of cardboard. The top piece of the card is die-cut to fit the blister where the product sits.
